I'm 33yrs old, live just outside Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
I've been fishing since I was 8yrs old after my Uncle took my cousin and I fishing at an old quarry pool where my first carp weighed in at a hefty 18lb.
I joined the army at 16 and was lucky enough to fish a whole host of venues around the world. While in Germany I landed a 32lb common from an old lake on camp, which people thought was full of "small stuff" making it a very popular place to for other serving personnel in my regiment. I also enjoyed fishing in the Army carp angling association.
During a trip to Dream lakes with my cousin on the 10th anniversary of my uncle passing I managed to get myself on the Dreamlakes roll of honour twice in the week, with a 54lb Common and 50lb Mirror.
I'm now living in Norfolk and working in the Media industry. I try to do an overnight session each month and a couple of day sessions thrown in. (I have a 172 acre lake just behind my home, with a good head of Bream to double figures and Pike to 25lb+.)
My 6yr old son has recently taken up the sport too, catching a 5 1/2lb common on his first session.
